Cartoning Machine
for Sachets
Automatic cartoning machines for sachets, stick packs, and small primary packs — counts and groups them into retail display cartons, hotel amenity boxes, and case-ready trays. Top-loading and side-loading configurations, servo-driven gentle handling, and seamless integration downstream of any sachet or stick pack line.
Sachets & Sticks We Carton
Every primary-pack format from upstream Qualipack machines (or any competitor's) flows seamlessly into our cartoner — same supplier, full line integration.
Powder Packaging Formats We Run
From single-dose stick to retail pouch and bulk case — one platform covers every consumer-facing format for powder products.
Cartoning Machine Solutions
Three configurations covering retail display cartons (the most common), hotel amenity boxes, and case-ready trays — match the carton format to your channel.
Top-Load Retail Display Cartoner
Retail Display Carton · 10 / 30 / 50 / 100 / 200-Count · Window Front · Hinged Lid
The standard for retail display cartons — sachets are counted on a conveyor, grouped into pre-set count by a servo-controlled accumulator, lifted by vacuum or pneumatic gripper, and lowered into an erected display carton. Lid is then closed and adhesive-sealed or tucked. Window-front and hinged-lid variants both supported.
Side-Load Amenity Box Cartoner
Hotel Amenity Boxes · Premium Gift Sets · Branded HoReCa Boxes · 10–30 Sticks
Side-loading cartoner for premium presentation boxes — hotel amenity (10–20 sugar sticks for guest tray), gift sets (mixed-flavor coffee stick selection), branded HoReCa boxes. Servo pickplace inserts sticks horizontally through an open carton side, preserving the branded outer face. Premium glue closure preserves the gift presentation.
Bulk Case Packer for Sachets
QSR / Fast-Food Bulk · 500 / 1,000 / 2,000-Count Cases · Vending Refill
For sachet brands supplying fast-food chains, vending operators, and institutional foodservice with bulk-count cases (the QSR ketchup case, the airport coffee vending refill). Servo-counted bulk drop into corrugated case with divider, then lidded and labeled. Integrated with case sealer and palletizer downstream for fully automated end-of-line.
Complete Powder Packaging Line
From bulk powder receipt to palletized retail-ready cartons — supplied as one synchronized line.
Common Challenges in Sachet Cartoning
Customization Capabilities
Every powder is different. Tell us the recipe — we engineer the machine to your exact product, not a generic spec sheet.
Built around your powder, your container, your line
We don't sell off-the-shelf machines for powder packaging. Every line is configured to the bulk density, particle size, flowability, and abrasiveness of your specific formulation — and to the format and SKU mix your retail channel demands.
Send us your product sample — we'll size the machine to your exact recipe, viscosity, particle size, and target container.

Cartoning Success Stories
Real results from QSR sachet suppliers, HoReCa branded packers, and retail sachet co-packers.

US Ketchup Supplier Hits 1,500 Sachets/Min Cased Output
A US QSR ketchup supplier was the bottleneck-side of their plant — primary sachet machine produced 600 sachets/min but their old cartoner only handled 350. New bulk case packer at 1,500 sachets/min cased output eliminated the bottleneck entirely, fully utilizing primary capacity for the first time in 6 years.

UK Coffee Stick Brand Maintains Print Quality on Gift Boxes
A UK premium coffee stick brand was losing 6% of gift-box production to scratched print finish during cartoning — mechanical handling rubbed the gold-foil branding. Soft-rubber gripper + carton-face protection conveyor + low-velocity placement eliminated scratching entirely, recovering 6% of premium production output.

Indian Tea Brand Runs 8 Display Count Variants on One Line
An Indian retail tea sachet brand was constrained by 4-hour count changeover on their old cartoner — running 25-count, 50-count, 100-count display cartons on one line was a daily logistics challenge. PLC recipe + servo accumulator change cut count changeover to 22 minutes, allowing 8 SKU runs per shift instead of 2.
Frequently Asked Questions
What buyers most often ask before purchasing.
Top-load or side-load — which carton format should I choose?
Top-load is the volume default for retail display cartons (10/30/50-count sugar/coffee/sweetener cartons in supermarket aisles). Sachets are lifted vertically and dropped into the open-top carton; lid is then closed. Side-load is for premium gift boxes and hotel amenity formats where the open face has to show branded packaging — sachets enter horizontally through a side opening. Some products run both formats on different SKUs; we offer machines that handle either with format change.
How accurate is the count per carton?
100% — every accumulation is vision-verified before insertion. A camera counts the sachets in the accumulator just before the pickplace cycle. If the count is wrong (typically a missing sachet from upstream or two sachets stuck together), the accumulation is rejected to a separate bin and the cycle restarts. The carton never receives a wrong count. We measure typical mis-count rate at 0.5–1% of cycles depending on upstream sachet consistency.
How does the cartoner integrate with my existing sachet machine?
Standard integration: discharge conveyor from your sachet machine → metal detector + checkweigher (optional) → buffer conveyor → cartoner accumulator → cartoner → glue/seal station → discharge conveyor to case packer or palletizer. We integrate with sachet machines from any OEM, not just Qualipack. Unified PLC control via OPC-UA so upstream stops smoothly idle the cartoner, and upstream restarts smoothly resume cartoning. No cascade stops.
Can the same machine handle 30-count and 100-count cartons?
Yes — accumulator length is servo-adjustable and PLC recipe stores the count target for each SKU. Format change between counts (e.g., 30 → 100) involves: servo accumulator length change (automatic), carton magazine change (manual, 5 minutes), pickplace timing recipe load (automatic), and a brief test run. Total typical changeover: 20–30 minutes. For brands running 5+ count variants we recommend the higher-end servo configuration.
What carton designs do you support?
Standard formats: top-flap (American style), hinged-lid (with display window), end-flap (tuck-close), perforated tear-strip for retail opening, and friction-lock sleeves. Premium formats: ribbon-pull, magnetic closure (for hotel amenity gift boxes), and window-front display. We work with your carton supplier on board specifications and crease patterns during the engineering phase to ensure smooth erection and closure on our equipment.
Can you apply tax stamps or anti-counterfeit codes per carton?
Yes — integrated applicator stations available for: tax stamp/excise label application, GS1 DataMatrix print on cartons, sequential serial number, barcode for retailer tracking, and tamper-evident over-wrap. For pharmaceutical OTC sachet cartons we support full DSCSA/EU FMD serialization with parent-child aggregation. Each application station includes vision verification of accurate placement and readable code.
What output speeds for retail display cartoning?
Top-load retail display carton (30-count sugar stick): 120–180 cartons/min. Top-load with glue closure (premium): 80–120 cartons/min. Side-load hotel amenity box: 60–100 cartons/min. Bulk QSR case (1,000-count ketchup case): 30–50 cases/min — but at 1,000 sachets/case that's 30,000+ sachets/min cased output. Match the cartoner to your upstream sachet machine throughput so neither is the bottleneck.
What's the typical project lead time?
Top-load retail cartoner: 14–20 weeks from PO to commissioning. Side-load amenity cartoner: 16–22 weeks. Bulk case packer integrated with case sealer: 18–24 weeks. Stock-configured top-load base machines available for 10-week accelerated delivery. Operator training, SAT, and integration with your existing sachet line included in all timelines.
