Powder Packaging Formats We Run
From single-dose stick to retail pouch and bulk case — one platform covers every consumer-facing format for powder products.
Coffee Powder Machine Solutions
Four core technologies covering pour-over drip sachets, retail valve pouches, vacuum brick packs, and bulk catering pouches.
Valve Pouch Packing Machine
Retail Ground Coffee · 250g / 500g / 1kg · One-Way Degassing Valve
Stand-up pouch with one-way degassing valve — the gold standard for retail roasted coffee. Auto-applies the valve to pre-printed pouch, fills with ground coffee, nitrogen flushes, and seals with zipper. Servo auger fill maintains weight accuracy on coffee's variable bulk density. Achieves <0.5% residual O2 routinely.
Drip Coffee Sachet Machine
Pour-Over Drip Bags · Single-Serve · 8g–15g · Filter Paper Construction
Specialized for pour-over drip sachets — the format that's exploding in single-serve specialty coffee. Filter paper bag with side hooks is formed and filled with 10g ground coffee, then sealed in an outer foil pouch with nitrogen flush. Dual-station construction (inner + outer pack) handles the full assembly inline.
Coffee Brick / Vacuum Pack Machine
Vacuum Brick Pack · 250g / 500g · Espresso Bar Format · Catering Pouch
Vacuum brick-pack format — rigid, stackable square pouch for espresso bars and supermarket retail. Coffee is dosed into the formed pouch, vacuum drawn to evacuate oxygen, then sealed and shaped into a brick. Maximum shelf life with minimum film usage. Compatible with both standard and one-way-valve brick designs.
Complete Powder Packaging Line
From bulk powder receipt to palletized retail-ready cartons — supplied as one synchronized line.
Common Challenges in Coffee Powder Packaging
Customization Capabilities
Every powder is different. Tell us the recipe — we engineer the machine to your exact product, not a generic spec sheet.
Built around your powder, your container, your line
We don't sell off-the-shelf machines for powder packaging. Every line is configured to the bulk density, particle size, flowability, and abrasiveness of your specific formulation — and to the format and SKU mix your retail channel demands.
Send us your product sample — we'll size the machine to your exact recipe, viscosity, particle size, and target container.
Request Custom SpecWhy Coffee Roasters Choose Qualipack
Aroma protection, valve handling, and the speed roasters need to match modern green-bean throughput.

Aroma-Lock Nitrogen Flush
Multi-stage nitrogen displacement brings residual O2 below 0.5% — shelf life equivalent to any major coffee brand.
Auto Valve Application
Degassing valve placed and welded to pouch inline at machine speed — no manual valve insertion bottleneck.
Static Control Standard
Ionizing bar + grounded auger tube — coffee doesn't cling, doesn't bridge, fill weight stays consistent through the shift.
Aroma-Safe Sealing
Temperature-optimized seal jaws + air-knife seal zone — hermetic seal without scorching the coffee.
Drip Sachet Specialist
We build the dual-pack drip bag + outer foil pouch machines that specialty coffee brands need.
Roaster Experience
180+ coffee lines from Italian espresso brands to Vietnamese instant giants to Japanese drip specialty roasters.

Coffee Brand Success Stories
Real results from specialty roasters, instant coffee giants, and HoReCa coffee suppliers.

Italian Espresso Roaster Achieves <0.3% Residual O2
A premium Italian espresso roaster needed to extend retail shelf life from 9 to 18 months. Multi-stage nitrogen flush + auto valve application on a new valve pouch line brought residual O2 below 0.3% on every pouch — double the shelf life with no formula change.

Japanese Drip Sachet Brand Scales to 80 sachets/min
A premium pour-over drip coffee brand was constrained by 30 sachet/min semi-automatic machines. A dual-station drip sachet machine (inner filter bag + outer foil) running at 80 sachets/min eliminated manual outsourcing and brought production in-house.

Vietnamese Roaster Cuts Co-Packer Outsourcing by 100%
A mid-sized Vietnamese roaster was paying co-packers in 4 countries to bag ground coffee for export. A 500g/1kg valve pouch line + an espresso brick pack line installed in their main plant let them consolidate all production in-house and reclaim a 14% margin lost to co-packing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What buyers most often ask before purchasing.
What coffee grind sizes can the machine handle?
All grind sizes from Turkish ultra-fine (powder) to French press coarse (700+ micron). Fine grinds (espresso, Turkish) need anti-static management and tighter seal control. Coarse grinds are more forgiving but need different cup/auger sizing. We test your actual grind on our machines during the sample trial before order confirmation.
How low can you bring residual oxygen in the pack?
Multi-stage nitrogen flush routinely achieves below 0.5% residual O2. Best results with our pre-flush + fill-time flush + pre-seal flush sequence are below 0.3%. We measure with inline gas analyzer during FAT and provide statistical proof. For shelf life targets above 18 months we recommend foil laminate film and the valve pouch format.
Do you supply machines with degassing valve application?
Yes — the auto valve applicator is standard on our valve pouch machines. The valve is placed on the pre-printed pouch, heat-welded, and quality-verified before the pouch enters the filling station. Standard valve types (Goglio, Plitek, Wipf equivalents) are supported. Valve cost is typically $0.02–0.04 per pouch.
Can the machine produce both drip sachets and valve pouches?
These are typically two different machines because the formats are fundamentally different (paper drip bag with hooks vs. foil pouch with valve). However, some customers run them in adjacent lines sharing a common ground coffee feed system. For an integrated solution, please discuss your SKU mix with our engineering team.
What about decaf cross-contamination?
Decaf cross-contamination is more about flavor than safety, but customers still want it kept clean. Standard product change (regular → decaf) is a 35-minute tool-free strip and wash. For high-volume decaf production we recommend a dedicated auger set + product path components — the cost is small and eliminates any decaf complaints.
Can you flush with CO2 instead of nitrogen?
Yes — CO2 flush is supported but we recommend nitrogen for coffee. CO2 dissolves into coffee oils over time and slightly affects flavor (acidic note). Nitrogen is inert and the industry standard. For sparkling or carbonated coffee concentrate formats, CO2 makes sense.
What films are compatible?
All standard coffee films: foil laminate (highest barrier), metallized PET laminate (lower cost, good barrier), kraft paper with foil liner (natural brand presentation), and the new compostable barrier films coming online. We test your specific film during the sample trial. Film thickness range 80–150 microns.
What's the typical FAT and installation timeline?
FAT at our facility takes 3–5 days running your actual coffee at full speed. We provide statistical accuracy data, residual O2 measurements, and shelf-life test pouches you can keep for your own aging tests. Installation at your facility is typically 2–3 weeks plus operator training. Total from PO to production: 14–18 weeks depending on machine complexity.
