Instant Coffee Products We Package
From classic 2g spray-dried sticks to premium freeze-dried gourmet sticks and complex 3-in-1 blends — all on multi-lane stick pack platforms.
Powder Packaging Formats We Run
From single-dose stick to retail pouch and bulk case — one platform covers every consumer-facing format for powder products.
Instant Coffee Stick Pack Solutions
Three configurations matched to volume: HoReCa entry (4-lane), retail mid-volume (8-lane), and high-output export (16-lane).
16-Lane High-Speed Stick Pack
3-in-1 Coffee Mix · 2-in-1 Coffee · Classic Instant · 2g–25g Sticks
The volume workhorse for instant coffee brands selling 3-in-1 in retail and export. Sixteen independent servo augers fill simultaneously at up to 1,200 sticks/min. Independent lane weight control keeps every stick at ±1%. Nitrogen flush before final seal protects aroma in spray-dried product.
8-Lane Stick Pack Machine
Retail 3-in-1 · 2-in-1 · Freeze-Dried Premium · Multi-SKU Plants
The mid-volume sweet spot for retail brands with multiple SKUs. Eight lanes deliver 600 sticks/min with the same per-lane accuracy as the 16-lane platform. Quick changeover between flavor variants (mocha → vanilla → hazelnut) is the differentiator — 25-minute SKU swap with PLC recipe recall and tool-free format parts.
4-Lane Stick Pack Machine
HoReCa Branded Coffee · Hotel / Airline Sticks · New Brand Launch
Entry-level platform for HoReCa contract packers and new retail launches. Four lanes at 300 sticks/min — same precision dosing system as our high-speed lines but at a lower capex point. Easy to operate by 1 person, easy to scale: add lanes later without replacing the platform.
Complete Powder Packaging Line
From bulk powder receipt to palletized retail-ready cartons — supplied as one synchronized line.
Common Challenges in Instant Coffee Stick Packing
Customization Capabilities
Every powder is different. Tell us the recipe — we engineer the machine to your exact product, not a generic spec sheet.
Built around your powder, your container, your line
We don't sell off-the-shelf machines for powder packaging. Every line is configured to the bulk density, particle size, flowability, and abrasiveness of your specific formulation — and to the format and SKU mix your retail channel demands.
Send us your product sample — we'll size the machine to your exact recipe, viscosity, particle size, and target container.

Per-Lane Dose Precision
Independent servo auger control on every lane means every stick in a 16-lane run hits the same target weight — critical for retail label-claim compliance.
Aroma-Lock Nitrogen Flush
Multi-stage nitrogen displacement brings residual O2 below 1% on every stick — 24-month shelf life for export markets.
3-in-1 Blend Integrity
Anti-segregation hopper + gentle stirrer prevents creamer/sugar/coffee separation through the shift — flavor consistency stick-to-stick.
Freeze-Dried Friendly
Gentle large-pitch auger and low-shear hopper agitation preserve premium freeze-dried granule integrity — no powder degradation.
Static Control Standard
Ionizing bar + grounded fluid path eliminates instant coffee cling and the dirty-seal failures that plague high-static products.

Instant Coffee Success Stories
Real results from instant coffee giants, 3-in-1 specialists, and HoReCa instant coffee suppliers.

Vietnamese Brand Hits 1,000 Sticks/Min for EU Export Launch
A leading Vietnamese instant coffee brand expanding into 3-in-1 stick format needed export capacity for the EU market. A 16-lane stick pack line achieving 1,000 sticks/min became the backbone of their European launch — 3 SKUs (classic, mocha, hazelnut) sharing one machine with 25-minute changeover.

Brazilian Brand Eliminates 3-in-1 Flavor Segregation
A Brazilian 3-in-1 brand was getting customer complaints about flavor inconsistency — some sticks tasted creamy, others tasted weak. Replacing standard cone hopper with mass-flow anti-segregation geometry + gentle stirrer brought blend homogeneity to within ±2% on creamer ratio across the full hopper.

Korean Premium Brand Protects Freeze-Dried Granule
A high-end Korean freeze-dried instant coffee brand was destroying 8% of their premium granules to powder during filling, downgrading product quality. Switching to gentle large-pitch auger + low-shear hopper agitation kept granule integrity at 99.5% — and supported a $0.30/stick premium product.
Frequently Asked Questions
What buyers most often ask before purchasing.
What's the difference between stick pack and sachet for instant coffee?
Stick pack is the slim vertical format (typically 18–30mm wide × 100–180mm long) with center-seal. Sachet is wider, often 3-side or 4-side seal (50–100mm wide). Stick pack is the dominant format for 3-in-1 instant coffee globally because it fits any cup mouth, dispenses cleanly, and looks premium. We supply both — but for instant coffee, stick pack is what 95% of brands choose.
Can the machine handle 3-in-1 blends without segregation?
Yes — but it requires the right hopper geometry. Standard cone hoppers cause creamer (low density) to rise to the top while sugar (high density) sinks. Our 3-in-1 hopper uses mass-flow geometry where all components move at the same velocity, plus a gentle low-shear stirrer. We test your specific 3-in-1 recipe before order confirmation to validate blend homogeneity stick-to-stick.
How accurate is the fill weight?
±1% RSD per lane on standard 2g spray-dried instant coffee, validated over 500 consecutive fills during FAT. For 3-in-1 (2g + 4g creamer + 6g sugar = 12g total) accuracy is ±0.8% on the composite weight. We supply the full statistical validation report before shipment along with the per-lane weight curves.
Can the same machine run both spray-dried and freeze-dried instant?
Yes — but with different auger profiles. Spray-dried instant flows freely with a tight-pitch standard auger. Freeze-dried granules are fragile and need a large-pitch low-shear auger. We supply both auger types with tool-free quick-clamp mounting; the changeover takes 8–10 minutes. The hopper and stirrer settings also change via PLC recipe.
What's the nitrogen flush capability?
Multi-stage nitrogen flushing routinely achieves <1% residual O2 on stick packs. The sequence is: pre-flush at the film former, fill-time flush as the product drops, and pre-seal flush just before jaw closure. For premium freeze-dried products targeting 36-month shelf life we can dial residual O2 below 0.5%, but expect higher nitrogen consumption.
How fast is changeover between flavors?
Same flavor family (e.g., classic → vanilla classic) is a 15-minute recipe-only changeover. Flavor change with allergen concern (e.g., hazelnut → standard, where nut residue matters) is a 30-minute strip-and-wash with tool-free auger removal. For brands running 5+ flavors regularly we recommend dedicated auger sets — adds upfront cost but cuts changeover to under 15 minutes for any combination.
Can the machine print the LOT/EXP date on each stick?
Yes — we offer two integration options. Thermal transfer printer (Videojet/Domino equivalent) directly on the stick film at the unwind station. Or laser coder at the discharge of the machine onto each finished stick. Both are integrated with the PLC for synchronized print with stick output. For 16-lane machines we use multi-head printing for full lane coverage.
What's the typical total project lead time?
From PO to first production stick: 14–20 weeks depending on machine size and customization. Breakdown: engineering and procurement 6–8 weeks, manufacturing 4–6 weeks, FAT at our facility 1 week, shipping 4–6 weeks (sea freight to most markets), installation and SAT at your facility 1–2 weeks. For brands needing faster launches, we stock the 4-lane and 8-lane base machines for 8-week delivery.
